DJ Kenedi began his music journey at just 11 years old, training at the renowned Scratch DJAcademy in New York City, founded by the legendary Jam Master Jay of Run DMC. By age 12,he was already DJing professionally at weddings and private events. Eager to elevate his craft,
DJ Kenedi sought mentorship from some of the industry’s top radio and club DJs, including DJ Hawk of Hot 93.7 and DJ JD of Big Night Entertainment.
Mastering a wide range of genres from hip hop to electronic music, DJ Kenedi also ventured into music production and engineering, enhancing his versatility. Over the years, he’s secured residencies at premier venues like Foxwoods Resort Casino and frequently performs at top events across the tri-state area. His collaborations with notable artists such as Anoyd,Gangstalicious of Full Effect, and Fuego Base have cemented his role in the vibrant Connecticut music scene.
Today, DJ Kenedi continues to captivate audiences worldwide, blending his expertise in live performance, audio engineering, and music production to deliver unforgettable experiences.

Lower Eastside of Manhattan, we would have block parties in the park. There, the local DJs taught me a lot and sparked my interest which kept me out of a lot of trouble. I am retired and utilize my time DJ'ng while my wife is working to keep balance. I focus on keeping Family a priority and making time for both. It was at a Reunion i was Dj'ng for 3 days and on the last day of the Event I Dj'd in DeSoto Park in Florida in front of a huge crowd. After many years I've met many goals and still seek new ones with each new experience. Having a medical condition I am challenged everyday and put forth every effort to set them aside. Playing my music helps me at the same time to defeat how I am feeling and sincerely can say When The music hits I feel no pain. I embrace the opportunity to help local charitable organizations and help support
fellow DJs and especially partner with my wife and family first n foremost. I have played events free of cost on many occasions and have volunteered for local community events. I was diagnosed with AIDS on June 29 1998 and at that time was told I had a 16 T-cell count and not given a good chance but with the Love n Support of my Family, I am currently now with a T-cell over 1000 n undetectable. This is DJ Ashe The DJ Percussionist. Not only do I blend hit records from the 70s to modern time, I also specialize in drumline percussion to add a great kick to the vibes of the room. My blends range from artists such as Rick James, Bruno Mars, Drake, Whitney Houston to Steve Aoki and much more just to name a few. I love performing open format style but also specialize in blending EDM with live sounds of percussion.
